永静军东光人，字斯立，号学易先生。刘挚子。神宗元丰二年进士。官朝奉郎，哲宗绍圣间从父于新州谪所。徽宗立，诏返挚家属，跂诉文及甫之诬，及甫被贬。后遭党祸，编管寿春，为官拓落，政和末以寿终。有《学易集》。
