译文
如果生活使你愁眉不展，那么有个解救的方子特别灵验，那可是刘伶面对面留下的亲传。纵然是满胸的忧结，或者是一时的愁烦，只要你捧起酒坛，还未把封口拆开，那股醉香就已先沁人心田。一切外物都在不断地消亡改变，还有什么比得上手中实实在在持有的杯盏？所以我朝也贪杯，晚也饮酒，整日愿在醉乡中沉酣。
注释
刘伶：西晋名士，“竹林七贤”之一。平生好酒放达，曾作《酒德颂》。又常携一壶酒，让人带着锸（铁锹）跟随，声称：“死便埋我。”
锦封：用绸子做成的酒瓮封口。
物换：事物亡佚变换。世有：元人方言，已有。

山坡羊·愁眉紧皱鉴赏
对付愁眉紧皱而有解救的仙方，这种说法本身就颇奇颖，吸引着读者去看看究竟是什么灵丹妙药。可作者仍不直接说出，继续用了一个别致的说法：“刘伶对向亲传授。”刘伶是千年前的古人，不可能同今人“对向”，更不可能“亲传授”，但读者从这位嗜酒如命、借醉抗世的古人身上，已经猜到了同他发生关系的“仙方”会是怎么一回事。有了读者注意力的投入，以下四句一气直下地宣传，以及结尾“朝，也媚酒；昏，也媚酒”的自白，就容易收到认同的效果。“酒能忘忧”，“一醉解千愁”之类的说教毕竟过于迹近老生常谈，元人有了散曲的逞才机会，是很讲究向“妙语连珠”的目标靠拢的。
“世有”即“既有”，《西厢记》中“世有、便休、罢手”，就是明确告诉老夫人莺莺与张生已经有了那种关系。在该曲中，“人世有”者，酒也，意谓既然已经有酒在握，就不必再去管什么物换星移。这个句子内部，意象间跳跃性颇大，曲中句与句间也有这样的感觉，例如从“满怀忧，一时愁”，一下子跳到“锦封未拆香先透”，利用开坛酒香的魅力来显示忧愁的置诸脑后，真有天马脱羁之势。然而唯因这种大开大合，才表现出作者的意绪难平。结尾是又一次跳跃，但从作品的逻辑来看，“朝也媚酒，昏也媚酒”，其潜台词自然是“朝也眉皱，昏也怀忧”，故不得不借助“仙方”了。

陈草庵（1245——约1330），名英，字彦卿，号草庵，大都（今北京市）人，生平事迹不详，元代散曲作家。曾任监察御史，中丞等职。现存小令二十六首。元·钟嗣成《录鬼簿》称其“陈草庵中丞”，名列前辈名公之中。孙楷第《元曲家考略》以为陈草庵名英，曾任宣抚，延初拜河南省左丞。门岿继考其人，名英，字彦卿，号草庵，析津（今北京）人。元代张养浩《云庄类稿》卷九《析津陈氏先茔墓碑铭》引陈英自述，叙其家世及任职历程甚详（见《元曲百家纵论》第七三页），可备一说。其存曲多愤世嫉俗之作。
