译文
远行的人早早就骑上了骏马，行途直指蓟城的旁边。蓟城北通大漠，我万里辞别故乡。大漠瀚海上，燃起万千烽火，黄沙之中，曾是千百年来的战场。军书急迫，发至上郡，春色青青，越过了中州河阳。长安宫中的柳条已经婀娜多姿，塞北地区的桑条依然颜色青青，琵琶呜咽，弹出令人泪垂的出塞曲，横笛声声，令人肝肠寸断。
注释
蓟：州名，治所在今天津蓟县。
漠北：即蒙古高原大沙漠以北地区。
海上：瀚海之上，沙漠上。
河阳：今河南孟县。
出塞曲：汉李延年造，曲调悲切。
古塞下曲鉴赏
“塞下曲”，唐代乐府题，多写边塞之事。此篇乃仿古之作，故称“古塞下曲”。
“行人朝走马，直指蓟城傍。蓟城通漠北，万里别吾乡。”此诗前四句写万里辞家，远赴边塞。早晨骑马出发，直指蓟城，行程匆匆，字里行间透射出一股豪气。
“海上千烽火，沙中百战场。军书发上郡，春色度河阳。”中间四句写边地见闻。“海上”“沙中”呼应“漠北”。“军书”“春色”，本为静物，加以“发”“度”二字，顿变鲜活，急切迅疾，气势飞动。一写战事，一写时节，一写边关，一写中原，刚健明快。
“袅袅汉宫柳，青青胡地桑。琵琶出塞曲，横笛断君肠。”最后四句一写色，一写声，颜色清丽，声调凄恻，先喜后悲，更显其悲。
通观全篇，格调苍凉，既有一点悲，又有一点壮，诚为《河岳英灵集》所评：“发调既清，修辞亦秀”，“足可歔欷，震荡心神。”

李颀(690-751)，汉族，东川（今四川三台）人（有争议），唐代诗人。少年时曾寓居河南登封。开元十三年进士，做过新乡县尉的小官，诗以写边塞题材为主，风格豪放，慷慨悲凉，七言歌行尤具特色。
