寒冷的更点长夜里敲个不停，清凉的夜晚像秋天中那么澄澈。
离别的时候心里拿什么赠送给你，我这自有如装在玉壶里的冰一样纯洁的真情。

寒更：指寒冷夜晚的敲更声。
承：接续。此句指寒夜漫漫。
凉夕：清凉的晚上。
秋澄：像秋天那般澄澈。
离心：离别的难舍难割之心。
玉壶冰：玉壶里装的冰块一样，指代友谊纯净透明。

这首诗是在初唐政治还不稳定的历史时期下，诗人在“寒更”“凉夕”的时刻，感受“无边落木”的秋夜，面对就要离别的友人，表达对友人的一种离别之情。

送别鉴赏
这首诗是诗人在夜晚彻夜难眠的时候为友人创作的一首离别诗，抒发了作者内心中那种对友人难舍难分的纯净通明的友情，君子之交淡如水，离别之心洁似冰。易水送别与秋夜惜别，豪气与柔情于骆宾王之身而为一。正因为如此，诗人丰富的情感更有力地打动着每一个人。男儿自古征战沙场，马革裹尸，功是将军功，死是战士死！还不知道以后什么时候见面，有酒就喝个痛快吧！尽管它冷的就和冰块没没什么两样！也应了当时社会动荡，难见面的局势。
这首诗题为“GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人”，但它并没有叙述一点朋友别离的情景，也没有告诉我们送的是何许人。然而，人们却完全可以由它的内容想象出那种“慷慨倚长剑，高歌一送君”的激昂壮别的场景，也可以想见那所送之人，定是肝胆相照的至友。因为只有这样，诗人才愿意、才能够在分别之时不可抑制地一吐心中的块垒，而略去一切送别的常言套语。此诗题为GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人，却纯是抒怀咏志。作为送别诗的一格，这首绝句可说是开风气之先吧。

骆宾王（约619—约687年）字观光，汉族，婺州义乌人（今浙江义乌）。唐初诗人，与王勃、杨炯、卢照邻合称“初唐四杰”。又与富嘉谟并称“富骆”。高宗永徽中为道王李元庆府属，历武功、长安主簿，仪凤三年，入为侍御史，因事下狱，次年遇赦，调露二年除临海丞，不得志，辞官。有集。骆宾王于武则天光宅元年，为起兵扬州反武则天的徐敬业作《代李敬业传檄天下文》，敬业败，亡命不知所之，或云被杀，或云为僧。
