译文
时间一点一点过去，已经到了三更时间，面对对面树上栖息着的黄莺，独自忧伤。在花的远处，传来一阵清晰的马蹄声。女孩不由得笑了，整理好衣襟配饰，面向男孩前来的方向拱拱手，走下台阶走出庭院迎接男孩的到来。
注释
玉漏频：指计时的漏声频频传来。均指时间的推移。
历历：分明可数，形容马蹄声非常清晰。
绣户：绣花的门帘。 敛手：拱手，表示恭敬。
江城子·斗转星移玉漏频创作背景
后梁末帝乾化四年（914），明经及第。二年后，再登进士第。后梁郓州节度使贺瑰了解到和凝与自己是同乡时，便聘他为府中从事。一夜，作者看到妙龄的少女私下和自己心目中爱恋的人约会，那个人迟到了，可是少女依旧在苦苦等待，终于盼到了自己心爱的人，遂做此此词。

首三句从时间的推移下笔，起句写斗转星移、玉漏频催，已由“月上门”到“三更天”了，女主人把视线由室内的云母屏风移到室外栖息的黄莺身上，不仅表示时间的推移，而且是感情的升华。她等待的GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人，未到约定的兰更而不来，她虽然急不可待，但还能自解。这一句用“转“、“移”、“频”连续三个动词表达少女对时光流逝的焦虑，以异于常人的感觉来表现她的炽热感情，给读者留下强烈而深刻的印象。独坐三更，面对栖莺，女主人公的情思是可以推知的。她会由夜莺都已栖息联想到自己还不能与所期待的潘郎相会，而有感于人不如鸟，由愁而怒。女主人公的遐想幽思可以是无边无际的，她的忧愁怒情也看似无穷无尽。
但下两句却一下子打破了静夜的沉闷空气，扫去了她心头的重重愁云和脸上的怒容，成为全词的起伏、转折之点。“已三更”时她仍然还在倾听着马嘶声。不过，此刻从花间小路上传来的不是老远就可听到的马嘶声，而是近处才可听到的马蹄声。这分明是她一直盼望听到的声音。末尾三句则急转直下：盼望已久的潘郎终于骑马疾驰归来，女主人公欣地的整理好衣服头饰，打开门户，轻快地走出房门，走下台阶到庭院相迎，从而结束了大半夜的期望与等待。
这首词与前一首都采用了直陈其事的手法，通过自然景物和人物一系列动作的描绘，展示了青年男女密约幽会的动人意境。在细节和心理描写上，细腻、生动、逼真，因而人物形象非常鲜明，真有呼之欲出之感。

和凝（898-955年），五代时文学家、法医学家。字成绩。郓州须昌（今山东东平）人。幼时颖敏好学，十七岁举明经，梁贞明二年(916)十九岁登进士第。好文学，长于短歌艳曲。梁贞明二年(916)进士。后唐时官至中书舍人，工部侍郎。后晋天福五年 (940)拜中书侍郎同中书门下平章事。入后汉，封鲁国公。后周时，赠侍中。尝取古今史传所讼断狱、辨雪冤枉等事，著为《疑狱集》两卷（951年）。子和（山蒙）又增订两卷，合成四卷。
