译文
夏至这天，昼晷所测白天的时间已经到了极限，从此以后，夜晚漏壶所计的时间渐渐加长。
还没来得及实施自己的计划，就已经忧虑气候的变化冷暖的交替了。
衙门每日空闲的时候居多，而这个月的农事却是比较忙活些的。
老百姓在地里耕作，酷热也不知怎么抵挡的。
正午时分那些人和物都在歇息，静悄悄的，惟独我自己在池塘里游来游去好不惬意。
城墙高耸，城门紧闭，树木葱翠，绿荫静寂。
翠绿的鲜竹尚且含粉，池塘里的荷花已经开始散发阵阵的清香了。
在这里可以抛却烦恼忘掉忧愁，终日对影举着华丽的酒杯畅饮。

晷：（guǐ）观测日影以定时间的工具。这里指日影。
漏：即漏壶，古代一种计时的装置，简称漏。
暇：空闲的时候。
亭午：正午，中午。
筠（yún）：竹子的青皮。这里指竹子。
于焉（yān）：在这里
华觞( shāng)：华丽的酒杯。

韦应物（737～792），中国唐代诗人。汉族，长安(今陕西西安)人。今传有10卷本《韦江州集》、两卷本《韦苏州诗集》、10卷本《韦苏州集》。散文仅存一篇。因出任过苏州刺史，世称“韦苏州”。诗风恬淡高远，以善于写景和描写隐逸生活著称。
