笋根雉子无人见，沙上凫雏傍母眠。
绝句漫兴九首·其七鉴赏
这一首《漫兴》是写初夏的景色。前两句写景，后两句景中状物，而景物相间相融，各得其妙。
诗中展现了一幅美丽的初夏风景图：漫天飞舞的杨花撒落在小径上，好像铺上了一层白毡；而溪水中片片青绿的荷叶点染其间，又好像层叠在水面上的圆圆青钱。诗人掉转目光，忽然发现：那一只只幼雉隐伏在竹丛笋根旁边，真不易为人所见。那岸边沙滩上，小凫雏们亲昵地偎依在母凫身边安然入睡。首句中的“糁径”，是形容杨花纷散落于路面，词语精炼而富有形象感。第二句中的“点”、“叠”二词，把荷叶在溪水中的状态写得十分生动传神，使全句活了起来。后两句浦起龙在《读杜心解》中说它“微寓萧寂怜儿之感”，我们从全诗看，“微寓萧寂”或许有之，“怜儿”之感，则未免过于深求。
这四句诗，一句一景，字面看似乎是各自独立的，一句诗一幅画面；而联系在一起，就构成了初夏郊野的自然景观。细致的观察描绘，透露出作者漫步林溪间时对初夏美妙自然景物的留连欣赏的心情，闲静之中，微寓客居异地的萧寂之感。这四句如截取七律中间二联，双双皆对，又能针脚细密，前后照应。起两句明写杨花、青荷，已寓林间溪边之意，后两句则摹写雉子、凫雏，但也俱在林中沙上。前后关照，互相映衬，于散漫中浑成一体。这首诗刻画细腻逼真，语言通俗生动，意境清新隽永，而又充满深挚淳厚的生活情趣。

杜甫（712－770），字子美，自号少陵野老，世称“杜工部”、“杜少陵”等，汉族，河南府巩县（今河南省巩义市）人，唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，杜甫被世人尊为“诗圣”，其诗被称为“诗史”。杜甫与李白合称“李杜”，为了跟另外两位诗人李商隐与杜牧即“小李杜”区别开来，杜甫与李白又合称“大李杜”。他忧国忧民，人格高尚，他的约1400余首诗被保留了下来，诗艺精湛，在中国古典诗歌中备受推崇，影响深远。759-766年间曾居成都，后世有杜甫草堂纪念。
