译文
西湖风光好，荷花开后清香缭绕，划船载着酒宴来赏玩，用不着旌旗仪仗，自有红花为幢绿叶为盖随船而来。
彩画游船驶进了荷花丛的深处，金杯上泛起加了荷香的酒香。傍晚烟雾夹着微雨，在一片音乐歌声里，船儿载着醉倒的游客归去。
注释
西湖：指颍州（今安徽省阜阳市）西湖。欧阳修晚年退休后住在颍州，写了一组《采桑子》（十首）。
旌（jīng）旗：古代旌旗仪仗。
幢（chuáng）：古代的帐幔。
盖：古代一种似伞的遮阳物。
卮（zhī）：古代盛酒的器皿。
笙（shēng）：簧管乐器。

采桑子·荷花开后西湖好创作背景
宋仁宗皇祐元年（1049年），作者时知颍州，趁着盛夏之季游玩西湖写下此词，记载了西湖风光及游湖之乐。

采桑子·荷花开后西湖好鉴赏
上片用“旌旗”来比况荷花的“红幢绿盖”，创造了一个童话般的境界。把荷叶比作红幢、绿盖的仪仗，随着自己前呼后拥，写出了荷塘荷花开放的旺盛姿态。作者紧扣“西湖好”的总写到展开具体描写，碧绿清澈的湖水承载着小船与游者，长长的湖堤长满茂密的芳草，满眼的绿意，扑鼻的清香，向人们报告着春天的信息。词中二三句主要通过视觉写“西湖好”，“隐隐笙歌处处随”则是从听觉写“西湖好”，这一句从侧面告诉读者，游湖之人何止醉翁。描绘出载酒游湖时船中丝竹齐奏、酒杯频传的热闹气氛。
下片写词人泛舟荷花深处，饮酒听曲，赏花饮酒的活动，已完全沉醉这大自然的美景之中了。“醉里归”写出词人心情十分惬意，这是观赏西湖秋荷所导至的，秋季西湖之美就自在不言中了。
全诗诗人游览荷塘，官场上的上的失意和烦闷，都被这荷香和微雨所冲散，带回的是一颗超尘脱俗的心境。整首词寓情于景，写出了作者与友人的洒脱情怀。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
