译文
多么仰慕当年的范蠡，他的志向本就在青山绿水、烟雾云霞之中，吴亡越兴，功成名就时隐姓埋名，寄身于太湖的烟波浩渺之中。纵情山水，寄兴风月。云水中驾一叶扁舟，把酒吟诵，其乐融融。此时此刻，才知道自由的可贵，身心两忘是多么的难得。
与繁花似锦的小岛为邻，和自由飞翔的鸥鸟做伴，多年不见那追逐利禄的豪商巨宦，早已进入了物我两忘的境界，怎不暗自庆选择了这飘飘欲仙的隐居生活。
注释
烟霞：云气，多泛指山林、山水，这里指归隐之所。唐·李群玉《送人隐居》诗：“平生自有烟霞志。久欲抛身狎隐沦。”
隐沦：隐姓埋名。沦之意为“没”。唐·祖咏《清明宴司勋刘郎中别业》诗：“何必桃源里．深居作隐沦。”
“功成”句：用越王勾践灭吴后，大夫范蠡功成身退、隐迹五湖的故事。五湖：太湖。
一叶：形容船小如树叶。
鸥作侣：与鸥为伴，这里指栖身世外、忘怀得失的隐居生活。《列子·黄帝》载，有人爱好鸥鸟，不存机心，鸥鸟亦乐于亲近。
深处：深居简出。
经年：年复一年。
市朝：偏义复词，指朝堂。市，交易买卖的场所。朝，官府治事的处所。后以市朝多指争名夺利的场所。
希夷：无声为希、无色为夷，犹言虚寂玄妙。《老子》：“视之不见名目夷，昕之不闻名日希。”河上公注：“无色日夷，无声日希。”萧统《谢敕参解讲启》：“至理希夷．微言渊奥，非所能镄仰。”柳宗元《愚溪诗序》：“超鸿蒙，混希夷，寂寥而莫我知也。”
微妙旨：精微玄妙的义旨。
潜喜：心中暗喜，发自衷心的喜悦。
荷衣蕙带：荷叶制成的衣服，香革制成的带子。代称隐士衣服。屈原《九歌·少司命》：“荷衣兮蕙带，倏而来兮忽而逝。”
绝：摆脱，不沾染。
纤尘：微尘，这里指俗世。

定风波·志在烟霞慕隐沦创作背景
这首词约作于同光三年（925）前蜀被灭亡后，诗人身上发生了由魏阙向江湖的转变。既隐逸，就自然以道家避世思想作为自己的精神支柱。于是写下此词直抒胸臆地把归隐思想和盘端出，以表示自己“志烟霞”“慕隐沦”的志趣。
定风波·志在烟霞慕隐沦鉴赏
李珣也曾写过一些隐逸之词，如《渔父》、《渔歌子》等。这首《定风波》是借范蠡事以明己志。范蠡亡吴霸越之后，功成身退，乘一叶扁舟泛游于五湖之上，啸傲风月于山水之间，过着隐逸生活。作者对他深怀仰慕之情，认为其人高洁无上。词的开头即点明他志在烟霞，仰慕隐沦，赞颂范蠡，也是表达自己的心愿。次句是说范蠡功成身退，泛游五湖，饱赏湖上春光。接句续写退隐之乐，一叶扁舟，徜徉湖上，舟中饮酒吟诗，其乐融融。“云水”二字概括了大自然的无限美好，令人陶醉。这时便深切地意识到无官一身轻的愉悦。这反映了作者对世俗的厌倦。
下片继续写隐逸之乐。与“花岛”为邻，鸥鸟为伴，隐居于奇山异水的幽深之处，生活是何等的安闲恬适。在这里长年看不见追名逐利的流俗之辈。可以说这里已经进入了老子所说的“希夷”的微妙境界了。果真能得到老子所说的微妙之道，心中怎能不暗暗自喜。结句“荷衣蕙带绝纤尘”，又用神的服饰，比喻隐者的高洁和一尘不染，大有飘飘欲仙的况味。
全词表现仰慕隐沦，申明作者抱有与范蠡同带的烟霞之志。范蠡归隐是在功成之后，见越王勾践为人可与共患难，不可与之同安乐，便毅然退隐。而李珣“以秀才豫受宾贡，事蜀主衍”，未能立功，即遭亡国之痛。两人同是退隐，却心境不一。此词纯用白描，直抒胸臆，与作者所写的风土词不一样，在“花间”词里也属罕见。

李珣（855？-930？），五代词人。字德润，其祖先为波斯人。居家梓州（四川省三台）。生卒年均不详，约唐昭宗乾宁中前后在世。少有时名，所吟诗句，往往动人。妹舜弦为王衍昭仪，他尝以秀才预宾贡。又通医理，兼卖香药，可见他还不脱波斯人本色。蜀亡，遂亦不仕他姓。珣著有琼瑶集，已佚，今存词五十四首，（见《唐五代词》）多感慨之音。）
