高淡清虚是心灵的家园，何须占据胜水名山。
无心求道便是得道，有意结交人倒疏远。
风吹繁花飘如织锦，阶前流水清似弹琴。
我愿如此直至永远，不慕世人灿烂前程。
注释
烟霞：即山水胜景。隐居之人往往酷爱山水，有烟霞痼疾。
赊：远。
野居偶作鉴赏
修道的方法有种种不同，入道的门径亦有种种，然其终归目的都是一个，即得道。而得道在于心与道打成一片，不知有何区别，《维摩诘经》所谓“心净国土净”，《坛经》所谓“直心是道场”。既如此，修心而使之高淡清虚便是，又何须一定在名山胜水中修。诗人贯休以为，在在处处都可修心，他自己也一定是随意地在一个野居之所居处下来，而写成这首小诗。他的随意，也就是无心，而无心即为得道。所谓无心，即将过去的种种知见全部丢掉，还以一个人的本来面貌，这才是得道的境界。有心追求道，也就有了道与人的区别，好比“你”有意地去结交人，别人会对“你”的目的产生怀疑因而疏远“你”。无心于道才是道与人合一的最高境界。比如风本无心吹，花本无心落，但风吹花落却织成了最美丽的图画；石阶无心斜，溪水无心流，而阶前流水声奏出了最悦耳动听的乐曲。这样一种无心随意的生活，便是最为理想的生活了，除此之外，还有什么值得追求呢。贯休该诗以说理及写景相结合，表现了野居生活中体味的禅道与禅趣。

贯休(823～912年),俗姓姜，字德隐，婺州兰豁（一说为江西进贤县）人，唐末五代著名画僧。7岁时投兰溪和安寺圆贞禅师出家为童侍。贯休记忆力特好，日诵《法华经》1000字，过目不忘。贯休雅好吟诗，常与僧处默隔篱论诗，或吟寻偶对，或彼此唱和，见者无不惊异。贯休受戒以后，诗名日隆，仍至于远近闻名。乾化二年(915年)终于所居，世寿89。
