译文
岸边的杨柳垂下金黄色的枝条，雨过天晴，黄莺儿在尽情地呜叫。我的家就在绿杨树旁边靠近通衙大道，来来往往经过许多许多的王孙年少。
我在高楼上半卷起帘子往下瞧，王孙公子们骑着马越去越远。我举袖遮睑把眉皱，感叹知音相逢这么难。
注释
醉公子，唐教坊曲名，后用为词牌名。杨升庵《词品》云：“唐词多缘题所赋，《醉公子》，咏公子醉也”。
莺百啭：形容莺的啼叫声非常动听。
少年：小青年。
敛袖：整理衣抽。翠蛾攒（cuán）：即攒眉皱眉，蹙眉。翠蛾：指眉毛。古人称女子的细而长的眉毛为蛾眉，因为其形似蛾的触须。古代女子以黛画眉，黛为青黑色颜料，故称翠蛾。
尔许：如许，这样。

醉公子·岸柳垂金线鉴赏
《醉公子·岸柳垂金线》轻借流丽潇洒之笔，用岸柳明媚莺声如簧的环境作衬托，委婉曲折地描写一位别后妇女的春思。“岸柳垂金线，雨晴莺百啭。”起拍二句，为对春日景物的描绘：“岸柳”已被春风吹绿，垂下缕缕长有嫩叶的枝条，而雨后新晴，黄莺百啭，一片春光融融。
“家住绿杨边，往来多少年。”写家居环境及宅前路上来往多青年人的情景。美景当前，故少年人来游者众，这一切都暗示这是一个易于挑起春情的季节，也是一个令人忆起少年情事的地方。潜气内蕴，深藏不露。
“马嘶芳草远，高搂帘半掩。”过片二句，写由所见来往多青年人而引发的对心上的人的思念：女主人公闻马嘶以为心上人即将来到，因而于楼上卷帘望远，但并未见到心上人，唯见郊原芳草连绵直伸向天边。这里只说“帘半卷”，不像后来宋词“倚危楼，望春山，行人更在春山外”之类直说，“点到即止”，正是唐五代词的含蓄处。
“敛袖翠蛾攒，相逢尔许难。”结拍二句，言因不见心上人的身影，女主人公眉峰紧锁、愁思满腹，并慨叹和心上人见面是如此之难。这里以蹙眉表愁态，于是不由内心发出惆怅无奈问己又问人的“相逢而不离开却是如此的艰难”的嗟叹。

［约公元九二八年前后在世］字、里、生卒年均无考，约后唐明宗天成中前后在世前蜀王建通正时，（公元九一六年）以小臣给事内庭。久之，擢茂州刺史。后蜀建国，敻又事孟知祥，累官至太尉。性好诙谐，仁前蜀时，见武官多拳勇之夫，遂作武举谍以讥刺他们，一时传笑。敻工词，作风间似温庭筠，今存五十五首（见花间集及唐五代词）。
