吾乡少年多龌龊，投老家山犹恋著。何异醯鸡舞瓮天，肯信十方无壁落。
羡君壮怀慕远举，万里云山行荦确。荆江洞庭虚浩渺，敛裓浮杯心自若。
去年腊月过湓城，聆我幽脩卧云壑。朅来相从慰契阔，笑语逸发惊猿鹤。
春风又复卷征衣，问子东去将何为。广陵城西古佛刹，中有老禅吾所师。
当年与君共伏役，妙道彷佛窥藩篱。别来星霜叹已久，夜梦往往神魂驰。
真金虽已出顽矿，锻鍊岂厌增钳锤。纵横法缚断除尽，了了方为狮子儿。

释道潜，本名昙潜，号参寥子，赐号妙总大师。俗姓王，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人（《续骫骳说》）。一说姓何，于潜（今浙江临安西南）人（《咸淳临安志》卷七○）。幼即出家为僧，能文章，尤喜为诗。与苏轼、秦观友善，常有倡和。哲宗绍圣间，苏轼贬海南，道潜亦因诗获罪，责令还俗。徽宗建中靖国元年（一一○一），曾肇为之辩解，复为僧。崇宁末归老江湖。其徒法颖编有《参寥子诗集》十二卷，行于世。
