（495—547）北魏济阴冤句人，字鹏举。自云为晋温峤之后。博学善文章。初为广阳王元渊贱客，教诸奴子书。孝明帝熙平初，对策高第，补御史，台中文笔皆出其手。孝明帝正光末，随元渊镇压六镇起事，为东北道行台郎中，军国文翰皆出其手。孝庄帝建义初，为南主客郎中，修起居注。孝庄帝诛尔朱荣，子升参预谋画。尔朱兆入洛，惧祸逃匿。孝武帝永熙中，复官侍读，兼舍人。后领本州大中正。东魏时高澄引为大将军府咨议参军。疑其知元仅等谋反，投之晋阳狱中，饿死。子升文笔，当时已传于江南，为梁武帝所称，又远传至吐谷浑。今有《温侍读集》明辑本。
