当秋作客独劳劳，山川靳不乐我曹。壮观八月十八潮，曲江涉足欺狂飙。
九月九日约登高，山城又值雨潇潇。兀坐斋前空寂寥，小窗容膝安书巢。
人烟缭绕起衡茅，白云相接远山腰。主人为我集宾僚，晚菘早韭充厨庖。
清酒百壶倒醇醪，重来吴宁兴更豪。插菊采萸快此朝，老少颁白并垂髫。
况复高会尽良宵，笙箫夜半薄云霄。鼓吹酒肠斗石浇，不须两廊椽烛烧。
灯明一点焚兰膏，醉后欣然口成谣。不假锤炼与推敲，笑彼刘郎不题糕。
拘牵字句徒纷淆，程老词源何滔滔。先成珠玉惊挥毫，佐者健将姓属姚。
独整旗鼓酣曲糟，右手持杯左持螯，拇战千百不曲挠。
我不如人不复聊，愧如燕石溷琼瑶。愿收诗筒和酒瓢，相从三笠与六桥。
吟就此篇解客嘲，不殊芥舟覆堂坳。

余生而鲁钝，雅不善诗。岁辛巳，由湖返杭，尤绝意不吟咏，复何稿之可存乎。偶理丛残，有不忍遽弃者，念少壮遭际多艰，赖母教辛勤，良朋切磋，得不汨没天性，言情纪事，时见乎词，则又不可以不存。爰按年录之，起咸丰癸丑，终光绪辛巳，得八卷，计古今体若干首。初有无可斋、倦游轩、七二铃馆、春晖室诸编目，兹分注各年下以存旧名。
