古代季札第一次出使北方，见到徐君结为好友。徐君喜欢季札的宝剑，口头虽没言明。季札心里明白这事，为了便于执行公务，就没有送给徐君。季札公务完毕路过徐地，见徐君已经去世，就到他的坟墓旁把宝剑挂在树上而离开。
