天女散花的成语故事

天女散花的典故

一天，如来佛在西天莲花宝座讲经解法，忽见瑞云东来，遥知得意弟子维摩洁患病。于是，派众弟子前去问候，断定维摩洁要借机宣经释典，便派天女前去检验弟子们的学习情况。天女手提花篮，飘逸而行，来到尘世间低头下望，见维摩洁果然正与众人讲学。随即将满篮鲜花散去，弟子舍利弗满身沾花。众人诧异万分，天女曰：“结习未尽，固花着身；结习尽者，花不着身。”舍利弗自知道行不行，便愈发努力学习。
