基本解释梁山：又称梁山泊；在今山东省东平湖西；梁山县南；附近地区为古梁山泊；北宋以后；常为农民起义军的根据地。《水浒传》里有宋江、林冲等人为官府所迫；上梁山造反的情节。后用来比喻被迫做某种事。

逼上梁山的典故

古典小说《水浒》描写了宋朝末年的一次农民起义。里面许多起义军头领都是被官府逼得走投无路才投奔梁山这个起义军根据地的。有个叫林冲的人，武艺高强，为人正直，原在官府任八十万禁军教头。但当权的大官高俅之子为了霸占他的妻子，三番几次陷害他，派人暗杀他。在忍无可忍的情况下，林冲杀死了前来杀他的人。这时他又得知自己的妻子已自杀了，在无路可走的情况下，被迫上了梁山。
