奴颜婢膝的典故

南宋时期，南宋与入侵的元兵交战。宋朝兵力不足，因此总是打败仗，国家面临着灭亡的危机。但是昏庸的宋朝皇帝却仍然只顾享乐，而宰相贾似道则隐瞒敌情。大臣陈仲微知道情况十分严重，便告诉皇帝说：“高宗在位时，君臣都十分昏庸，敌人攻打进来时，那些人向敌人屈膝投降，就像奴才一样满脸堆笑，像婢女一样跪下求饶，我们应该引以为戒啊！”可是昏庸的宋君根本不放在心上，后来南宋就灭亡了。
